Compromise. Its a strong word attached to bold actions. It's a delusion, it's like love, inevitable. You have people and things in your life that you have to compromise to, even from the smallest of things. Compromise literally means: an agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions.
Compromise. It's such a heavy weight idea, it attaches you to outside problems that you have to be a part of. Annoying right? It's a way of self-destructing your inner peace in a way. You can no longer look out only for yourself, because you have ´important´ things you have to do… for others. It's all consuming, and we are all ego centered beings. Normal.
Just get this for a moment, without compromise, there's nothing. Literally; there's disaster, there's indecision, calamity, disagreement, it's a real life dystopia. Right here is where weakness and comfort arrive to blend in with the idea as a whole. As ego centric as much as we try to get, we are always looking for comfort. Indirectly, we become dependent of other people and things. Nobody is saying its anything bad, it's just a contradicting naturally occurring statement. We are all imperfect and weak, and it's a très romantic ideal.
As annoying and spine-.chilling the word compromise sounds like, we are all living proof of it. We have things to do at specific times, we have people we need to see, and we have places we need to be.
Keep cool and calm.
Xoxo, Stella.
